There is an alternative to metal braces! Clear Correct and Invisalign are types of aligners or clear braces that can provide a beautiful smile and are almost unnoticeable during treatment. Tower Dental has both options available.
ClearCorrect
ClearCorrect straightens your teeth using a series of customized, clear, and removable aligners. Each aligner slowly adjusts your teeth until they are perfectly straightened. ClearCorrect is unique in that the aligners are virtually invisible and have a smooth surface finish that resists clouding from wear.
Once you and your doctor establish ClearCorrect as the right treatment option for you, your doctor will take impressions, photos, and x-rays of your teeth used in manufacturing your custom aligners. ClearCorrect will then map out the treatment plan of gradual adjustments needed to get your teeth from where they are to the place you’d like them to be.
ClearCorrect aligners are easy and comfortable to wear. Because they are removable and don’t interfere with routine brushing, flossing, or eating.
Invisalign
The Invisalign system consists of virtually invisible aligners (or clear braces)made of a thermoplastic material. A series of aligners are custom-made to move your teeth in the sequence determined by your doctor. Invisalign controls the force, as well as the timing of the force on your teeth. Your orthodontist will determine which teeth are to move during each stage of the treatment.
As with any other orthodontic treatment, your doctor will determine if this is the right treatment for you. If Invisalign is chosen, you will wear a new aligner every two weeks with only the occasional checkup. The Invisalign treatment typically takes about 12 months, but will depend on the severity of your misalignment.
